Think of softness as a feathering effect and the lower this setting, the stronger the edge of the brush stroke will be. Should you see a lot of bleeding over into areas you don't want to be affected, remember to not only reduce the brush size but also the softness. The brush is responsive and accurate, but it does take a little practice to get the hang of things. The interface is simple and easy to use and I do like the filter options. I would have liked to have seen a cropping tool available with Color Splash Studio, but I don't think it is a deal breaker.

There is a button called "Compare" at the bottom of the page that you can click and hold to see the original image. Add frames, stickers, and text over your image and give it more character. The Beauty tab includes basic, eye and mouth effects.
